Version & day limit
Define how many changes to a file you keep, by number of versions or days. Whichever limit is hit first, older versions move to the retention period before being permanently deleted. Default is 100 versions and/or 30 days.
Retention period
Once an old version or deleted data goes into retention, it stays for the period set, then is permanently deleted. You can still restore it during this time. Minimum 100 days.
